Mitsubishi elevator unit hopeful on PH operation

International Elevator & Equipment Inc. (IEE), a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Electric, is hopeful about its operations despite the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Pandemics and extraordinary events notwithstanding, the economic progress of the country remains steady, and IEE stays ready to help keep it that way," IEE said in a statement.

IEE does installation and servicing of elevators, escalators, and air conditioning units in train stations. It also provides equipment and automation for construction and engineering businesses.

"The company extends its commitment to service excellence as its understands it is directly in service of the Filipino people," IEE said.

Some of the projects bagged by the company over the years include those in Bonifacio Global City, Clark City in Pampanga, as well as several public infrastructure projects of the Philippine government.

"Regardless of industry, IEE has remained a trusted partner in keeping astride the ups and downs of changing client needs to help improve lives and enhance working conditions through innovative engineering solutions, efficient installation, and high-quality maintenance," the firm said.

Right now, the company is still pushing for innovation to continuously provide solutions for its partners in light of all different circumstances.

For instance, the company claimed that commercial establishments like malls and hotels, and offices like Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) buildings, have largely benefitted from ots industrial air conditioning units, Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) Systems for BPO buildings, water chillers, and complementary AC ventilators to serve its patrons through the warmest summer months.

Mitsubishi Electric's product quality, coupled with proudly Filipino service quality, have allowed these establishments to only be supplied with the most reliable, energy-efficient, and compliant systems that are easy to install and to maintain, the company claimed.

Mitsubishi Electric's 'smart' and intuitive elevators with earthquake response sensors, automatic escalators, and even jet towel hand dryers have also proved to be indispensable assets to businesses, it added.

"The company takes pride in its proactive approach, rendering preventive maintenance services.

This approach is still in keeping with IEE & Mitsubishi Electric's commitment to innovate with the times, to provide relevant building equipment, installation, and maintenance services that reflect their 'Changes for the Better' mantra," IEE said.

"And with over 50 years of internationally-acclaimed product and service excellence across

B2Bs , it's no wonder that IEE has been touted a reliable partner and contributor even for the improved infrastructure of the country it has long served," it further said.
