Filipino prima ballerina Lisa Macuja-Elizalde’s performance in the 2011 production of “Romeo and Juliet” is set to stream online for free.
Ballet Manila announced in a Facebook post on Friday that Elizalde’s performance as Juliet in the 2011 production of “Romeo and Juliet” will be available online via its Facebook and YouTube official accounts starting July 4 at 6 p.m. until July 10 at 10 p.m.
A tragedy written by William Shakespear, “Romeo and Juliet” follows the story of two young lovers who fall in love despite coming from two feuding families.
Earlier, Ballet Manila has streamed online prima ballerina’s performances including “Swan Lake” and “Don Quixote.”
