(WATCH) 'Seklusyon' trailer

Award-winning director Erik Matti's MMFF entry 'Seklusyon' finally has a trailer. Reality Entertainment released the snippet on November 24 (Thursday).

Reminiscent of Matti's previous films The Aswang and Vesuvius, Seklusyon (Seclusion) is a horror-thriller film set in the late 1940s. It tells a story of young deacons on a journey to priesthood.

However, they must undergo an old ritual, where they are brought to seclusion in a holy fortress where unusual and paranormal events take place.

It was the last time the said ritual was done.

The film will be starred by Hashtag's Ronnie Alonte, Elora Espano, Neil Ryan Sese, and Lou Veloso.

This is Matti's comeback film in the MMFF. Last year, his crime-thriller Honor Thy Father was accepted at the annual film festival.
