How depression made shoe designer Jojo Bragais a better person


Popular shoe designer Jojo Bragais said that depression made him a better person as he thanked all those who gave him a second chance to fulfill his dreams.

On a Facebook post uploaded on March 15, Bragais also called on the public never to stop dreaming and hustling.

His complete post:

"When you were miserable enough, it pushes you to change. So don’t take challenges too negative that will lead you to stop dreaming;

"I AM A PROUD PRODUCT OF DEPRESSION;

"I don’t know exactly how I did it. But I'm just certain that I want to give my best in everything I do.

"Everyone is the same, in a sense that you don’t know really what want you want in life and at some point you will look for something that you are good at;

"It may or may not be exactly the life you planned and prepared yourself for but if your motivation is right success will follow;

"Keep dreaming and never stop hustling!”

"I got so many dreams and so much things to do. I wanna give the best product ain’t as elite that will cater the REAL PEOPLE. Giving them a taste of good options not trying go after the luxurious brands. And I wanna thank everyone for the support, You folks gave me a second chance to live," wrote Bragais, who almost gave up on life due to depression few years ago.

Bragais, of Bicol, is the official shoe designer of the Binibining Pilipinas beauty contest. He has also done heels for international beauty queens and Hollywood stars.

Just recently, Bragais opened his flagship store at 42 Scout Borromeo St., Brgy, Diliman, Quezon City, Metro Manila.
