Band ONE OK ROCK and 5 Seconds of Summer team up for new song 'Take What You Want'

After collaborating with Avril Lavigne for “Listen,” Japanese rock band  ONE OK ROCK has teamed up with Australian pop-rock band 5 Seconds Of Summer in producing the track Take What You Want another song from their newly released album, Ambitions.

Although we thought 5SOS were on a break, the Australian rock band surprises fans with their new collab. It isn't quite a new 5SOS song, but at least fans get to hear their voices again.

The Japanese rock band start the song which goes "I don't want anything in our broken home / Not the memories or the things we own / Not the picture of us on the wall / So take what you want,"  while 5SOS join in with a part for each member Luke, Michael, Calum and the chorus for Ashton "Can you hear me? I'm tryna hear you / Silence strikes like a hurricane / I'm singing for you, you're screaming at me / It's hard to see your tears in the pouring rain."

Micheal Clifford of 5SOS posted an update photo of both bands on Instagram.

The two bands became close after ONE OK ROCK opened for 5SOS in their Sounds Live Feels Live American tour last year.
