2 cops test positive for COVID-19 in Pangasinan

PANGASINAN – Two police officers tested positive for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Pangasinan on Monday, June 15.

San Carlos City Mayor Julier Resuello disclosed that the City Health Office confirmed that a 24-year old policeman assigned at the Pangasinan Provincial Office (PPO) in Lingayen, and who resides in Barangay Bacnar, San Carlos, tested positive for COVID-19.

Provincial authorities also confirmed that another male police officer, 45, from Barangay Papagueyan, Binmaley town was also infected by the coronavirus.

Both personnel are now being isolated prior to their transfer at Pangasinan Provincial Hospital in San Carlos City.

Meanwhile, Pangasinan Provincial Police Office scheduled a disinfection of all offices inside camp.
