The city health office recorded a total of 181 recoveries, 32 probable and 48 suspect affected with the virus.

Mayor Imelda Aguilar said that the increasing number of persons affected with the virus was due to the city government’s expanded targeted testing being done by the city health office down to barangay level to contain the spread of the virus.

Aguilar said that the CHO was continuing to conduct screening and contact tracing to residents with possible exposure to COVID19 patients.

She said that based on the latest record of the CHO those afflicted with the disease were from CAA/BF International with 4, followed by Pilar with 3 and Pamplona Tres with 2.

Barangays Talon Dos; Almanza Uno and Dos; Daniel Fajardo and Ilaya recorded one each.

Netizens are already asking Aguilar to lockdown Barangay CAA/BF International based on the report that the said barangay has the highest number of individuals affected with the virus with the number of 37.

The city government is urging the city residents to follow the health protocols set by the Department of Health (DOH) to avoid being infected with the disease.

Aguilar also said that the CHO had already met barangay officials and asked them to place an isolation facility in their respective barangays to contain the possible spread of the disease.

She said that barangays officials and the CHO were already planning to convert day-care centers in their area of responsibility to convert it into an isolation facility as part of the city’s response to COVID19 cases in separating persons under monitoring (PUM) and persons under investigation (PUI).
