Suspected drug pusher killed in San Jose Del Monte City

CAMP GENERAL ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan – A traffic enforcer reportedly involved in the selling of illegal drugs was killed during a buy-bust operation conducted by the Drug Enforcement Unit of San Jose Del Monte City police Thursday, May 28.

Bulacan Provincial Director Col. Lawrence B. Cajipe identified the slain suspect as Rolando Ison Tigpos Jr., an active traffic enforcer of the CSJDM government.

Based on the report of Lt. Col. Gil Domingo, CSJDM acting police chief, after a consummated drug deal conducted at around 7 p.m. in Block 7, Gumaoc Central, CSJDM, on May 28, the suspect fired at operatives upon sensing that he was dealing with lawmen.

The police retaliated which resulted in the suspect’s death.

Tigpos's cohorts identified as Marilou Pulpeno Alday and John Carl Montemayor Doculan were arrested.

Recovered were 13 pieces of small heat-sealed plastic sachet of "shabu"; one caliber .38 revolver without serial number and trademark, and buy-bust money.

Meanwhile, two other drug suspects, identified as Gerry Daet Toyco and Mharc Richard Ernest Yuson, were arrested while caught in the act of selling illegal drugs to a police poser buyer in separate anti-illegal drugs operations of San Miguel and Balagtas towns.

Seized were three heat-sealed sachets of shabu, and two sachets of dried marijuana leaves with fruiting tops; and the buy-bust money.

The confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to Bulacan Crime Laboratory for examination.
