PH embassy in Singapore reports on latest COVID-19 cases

The Philippine Embassy in Singapore on Monday released an update from the Ministry of Health (MOH) on coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases.

Based on data from the MOH, the embassy in a Facebook post reported that 14,876 have recovered and were already discharged from public hospitals.

According to the information 16,027 are currently in community isolation facilities.

Out of 14,876 who reportedly recovered, 67 were Filipinos while out of the 16,027 who are currently in isolation, 44 are Filipinos.

As of the said posting, there have been 23 deaths while 8 are currently in intensive care units (ICU).

The embassy has been advising Filipinos in Singapore to always practice social distancing to protect them from the dreaded disease.

It has also advised Filipinos to refrain from being part of mass gatherings and encourage them to remain indoors as much as possible.
