New COVID-19 case reported in Bulacan

CITY OF MALOLOS, Bulacan – The Bulacan Provincial Public Health Office (PHO) reported a new case of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) on Friday afternoon, May 22, that brought the total number of coronavirus incidents in the province to 165.

The new patient was a 23-year-old female from Santa Clara village in Sta. Maria, Bulacan. She works for a big company in the City of Meycauayan.
According to health officials, she was asymptomatic.

Contact tracing is currently being undertaken for to determine the persons who may have had close contact with the patient.

Bulacan now has 1,482 active COVID-19 suspects, with two probable patients. A total of 68 patients have recovered from the disease, while 30 have succumbed to it.
