Paranaque city gov’t offers free rapid test to all frontliners and residents who might be infected

The Paranaque City government is offering free rapid testing to all city frontliners as well residents who may have symptoms of the coronavirus (COVID-19).

Mayor Edwin Olivarez said that the purpose of the free rapid testing was to identify those that are positive or those that are probable for the coronavirus.

Olivarez also said that the free testing was also to execute contact tracing for persons who may have been associated with COVID-19 positive persons. He also said that after testing has been made and if found positive or either probable isolation or quarantine will immediately follow.

The mayor said that barangays under District I: La Huerta, San Dionisio, Tambo, Don Galo, Sto. Nino, Vitalez, San Isidro, and Baclaran may call at 8825-4902 local 210 if they have any questions regarding the free testing or to set an appointment to be tested.For residents in District II barangays: Merville, San Antonio, BF Homes, Sun Valley, Don Bosco, Moonwalk, Marcelo Green, and San Martin de Porres they may call or text at 0931-099-4988 or 0966-683-5415.

Olivarez said that they are now studying to place some barangays in the city under strict community quarantine with the surge of COVID-19 cases.
