The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) identified the suspect as Baron Giovani Belison, 36, from Barangay Pasong Tamo, Quezon City and supposedly a third party worker at radio network DZBB.

But the radio network clarified in a Twitter post that Belison "is not employee" as he came from a "third party supplier of the company."

Police said the arrest came after an officer from Anonas Police Station saw Belison, who was aboard a Nissan Frontier with body markings GMA DZBB 594 KHR, engaged in a heated argument with another motorist along Aurora Boulevard on Monday morning.

The police report stated that the officer tried to pacify them but Belison allegedly sped off.

Police manning a nearby quarantine checkpoint in Barangay Loyola Heights was alerted regarding the incident and immediately stopped Belison.

The police asked for Belison's driver's license. It was then that they caught him allegedly in possession of two sachets of suspected shabu.

The suspect reportedly swallowed one of the two sachets. But authorities still caught him with one more sachet, leading to his arrest at around 11:30 a.m.

DZBB radio network said that they already coordinated with Belison's company to take actions against him.

The suspect is facing charges for reckless driving and possession of illegal drugs, police said.
