A fire broke out at a residential area at Barangay 60 in Tondo, Manila Sunday morning.

According to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP)- Manila, the blaze was first reported from a three-story residential building along Peñalosa Street corner Gatmaitan Street at about 6:14 a.m.
It reached the second alarm before it was put out at 6:58 a.m.
Investigation showed that 60 families were rendered homeless by the blaze after 30 houses were burned down. Estimated damage is pegged at P300,000.
The BFP-Manila said there were no casualties or injured reported in the fire.
The cause of fire is still under investigation.
