DWSD: P859.82-M distributed to over 107,000 non-4Ps families in NCR

More than 107,000 low-income and non-Pantawid Pamilya families in the National Capital Region (NCR) have received their emergency subsidies, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) said on Sunday (April 26).

Based on the DSWD's SAP Monitoring Dashboard for Emergency Subsidy, as of Saturday (April 25), more than P859.82 million has been distributed to 107,478 non-4Ps families in Metro Manila, which is only 6.89 percent of the 1,558,615 target beneficiaries in NCR.

Each SAP beneficiary inn NCR is entitled to receive P8,000 cash aid.

According to the SAP Monitoring Dashboard, Caloocan City recorded the highest SAP payout, amounting to P189.8 million for 23,734 beneficiaries.

Next to Caloocan City, Pasig City registered the second highest payout, amounting to P160.13 million for 20,017 beneficiaries, followed by Marikina, P77.32 million for 9,665 beneficiaries; Valenzuela, P68.54 million for 8,568 beneficiaries; Parañaque, P67.32 million for 8,416 beneficiaries; Manila, P63.36 million for 7,920 beneficiaries; Quezon City, P54.32 million for 6,790 beneficiaries; Mandaluyong, P47.42 million for 5, 928 beneficiaries; Taguig, P46.71 million for 5,839 beneficiaries; Las Piñas, P21 million for 2,625 beneficiaries; Malabon, P15.36 million for 1,921 beneficiaries; Navotas, P14.96 million for 1,870 beneficiaries; Pasay, P12.54 million for 1,568 beneficiaries; Pateros, P8.76 million for 1,095 beneficiaries; Makati, P7 million for 878 beneficiaries; Muntinlupa, P3.53 million for 442 beneficiaries; and San Juan, P1.61 million for 202 beneficiaries.

According to DSWD data, more than P1.41 billion worth of emergency subsidies have been distributed to 212,738 4Ps beneficiaries in NCR.

Currently, there are 320,216 SAP beneficiaries in Metro Manila receiving more than P2.27 billion worth of emergency subsidies.

The DSWD has transferred P12.46 billion SAP funds to 17 local government units( LGUs) to benefit 1,558,615 target low-income, non-4Ps families in NCR.

The breakdown of the P12.46 billion SAP funds dowloaded to Metro Manila LGUs is as follows:
Manila, P1.485 billion; Quezon City, P3.020 billion; Caloocan P1.726 billion; Las Piñas, P541.9 million; Malabon, P335.048 million; Makati, P558.30 million; Mandaluyong, P368.37 million; Marikina, P449.88 million; Muntinlupa, P430.68 million; Navotas, P223.82 million; Parañaque, P621.39 million; Pasay, P370.28 million; Pasig, P750.93 million; Pateros, P53.65 million; San Juan, P130.47 million; Taguig, P739.77 million; and Valenzuela, P661.66 million.
