Filipino couple shoots prenup via Zoom

With lockdown and social distancing protocols in place due to the COVID-19 threat, a couple decided to push through with their wedding prenup shoot via Zoom.

Luminara Photo shared a series of photos of engaged couple Alexis Bryan Labing and Bernadette "Pink" Zamora on Facebook. The post quickly became viral.

The couple revealed that it was Carlo Pilongo of Luminara Photo who came up with the idea.

"He is a good friend of ours and we also hired his team for our wedding. One morning, he contacted us and asked if we are willing to model for him. He pitched the pandemic prenup concept," Pink told Manila Bulletin.

Pink added that she and Bryan immediately agreed because they found the concept "cute and inspiring."

"The theme is very much fitting for us and for the current situation that we are all dealing with," she said.

While they have been a couple for 11 years, Pink and Bryan began their long-distance relationship in 2017 when Bryan went to Singapore to work as an architect. Pink stayed in the Philippines where she is working as a communication officer.

The Zoom prenup was shot during the couple's Holy Week break. The couple added that it took them over an hour to finish the session--which could have been faster if not for the slow Internet connection.

"Medyo mabagal kasi yung connection on my end (My Internet connection was slow). During the entire shoot, Bryan and I could not see or hear each other," Pink said.

The couple said they are thankful to Carlo because he was the one who directed their poses and they mostly relied on him during the whole shoot.

"Bago pa kami nag-shoot (Before the shoot) he already a picture of how he wanted the shoot to come out. Hindi talaga kami nahirapan kasi alam n’ya 'yung output na gusto n‘yang makita (It wasn't hard for us at all because he already knew the output he wanted to see). Over all a fun shooting experience," Pink said.

Pink and Bryan revealed that they are still planning to have another set of engagement shoots once the pandemic threat is over.

"We really plan to have the prenup shoot by the third quarter of this year," Pink said.

The couple is set to wed in the first quarter of 2021.
