OCD distributes 2,000 sets of PPEs among Central Luzon health facilities

City of San Fernando, Pampanga – The Office of Civil Defense (OCD)-Region 3 has distributed 2,000 sets of personal protective equipment (PPE) to three health facilities in Central Luzon.

The Department of Health-procured PPE sets arrived at the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council-Humanitarian Response Depot Warehouse at Air Force City, Clark on Tuesday (April 21).

“Each set includes a surgical gown, shoe covers, medical goggles, KN95 mask, medical gloves, surgical mask, protective gown, and head cover,” OCD Regional Director Maria Theresa Escolano said.

The recipients of this batch of PPEs are the Bataan St. Joseph Hospital and Medical Center (500 sets), Mariveles Mental Wellness and General Hospital (500 sets), and New Clark City (1,000 sets).
