Joshua Marcial, Tulong Kabataan Network spokesman said that in response to the immediate needs of communities, their group mobilized donation drives and established six community kitchens.

"In one day alone, the network, through the generosity of our donors and supporters, fed an estimated 3,000 people with nutritious meals for the day," Marcial said.

This week, the Network is set to conduct its first soup kitchen in Manila.

"The youth volunteers estimate that there are another 6,000 people to feed. The youth volunteers strive harder to reach generous souls to make this possible," Marcial said.

The youth group also donated face shields to Pasig City General Hospital, Ospital ng Parañaque, Las Piñas General Hospital, and barangay health workers in Central, Pinyahan, UP Campus, Krus na Ligas, and Alley 6 Kalayaan B.
