The Muntinlupa City local government will implement a scheme that will limit the number of marketgoers at the city's public market.

In a video posted on the official Facebook page of Muntinlupa, the schedule for marketgoers from the different districts was announced.
The Muntinlupa public market schedule, according to the video post is as follows:
Monday
Market closed for inspection and disinfection
Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
District 2: Alabang, Ayala Alabang, Cupang, Buli and Sucat
Wednesday, Friday and Sunday
District 1: Barangays Tunasan, Poblacion, Putatan and Bayanan
Ronald Suitado of the Muntinlupa Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office said that the new schedule is being implemented to avoid overcrowding and ensure proper social distancing.
Marketgoers were reminded to ensure the maintain 1 meter apart distance while inside the public market to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
