Three drug personalities were arrested in separate anti-illegal drug operations in Cagayan and Nueva Vizcaya provinces.
A report from the Police Regional Police Office 2 identified the suspects as Joel Farolan Jr, 22, and from Barangay Carig, Tuguegarao City; and Rhiencar Narvarte, 23, and from Barangay Dadda, Tuguegarao City; and Jens Eric Barcena, 30, and from Barangay Homestead in Bambang, Nueva Ecija.
PRO2 Regional Director Brig. Gen. Angelito Casimiro said that, at about 3:45 p.m. April 9, personnel of the Tuguegarao City Police conducted an anti-illegal drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Buntun, Tuguegarao City that resulted in the arrest of Farolan and Narvate.
Confiscated from their possession were five heat-sealed plastic sachets containing shabu, and the buy-bust money, among others.
On the same date, Bambang police, accompanied by barangay officials, conducted a drug stint that resulted in the arrest of Barcena.

Appropriate charges are now being prepared for filing against the suspects.
