The remake of Final Fantasy VII is out.
Square Enix released a video, featuring Yoshinori Kitase, producer of the remake and the director of the original Final Fantasy VII that came out in 1997. In the video Kitase thanks people for waiting for the game since it’s official announcement on 2015. He then delivers an introduction to the game.
“We revived the original game using state of the art technology and the best graphics making it into a game that meets or goes beyond your expectations and is exciting to play.”
He mentioned that they have developed new game mechanics that would not only appeal to fans of the original but also to the modern generation of gamers.
According to TechNews game reviewer, Adlai Rosh, the game is more of an adaptation than a remake of the original game. You can check out the full review here.
