Max Collins mulls delivering first baby at home due to pandemic

Max Collins is thinking of giving birth at home due to the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in the country.

In a report by Nelson Canlas of “24 Oras,” the actress-model expressed fears of contracting the virus since hospitals now are full of COVID-19 patients.

Max is set to give birth in July, but she already enrolled herself in a home or water birthing course.

“I never thought it would come to this. But I think that would be safest way for me,” said she. “Not a 100 percent sure na about the home birth ’cause I have to check the s’yempre positioning of the baby, kung kaya ko.”

She is preparing herself physically and mentally for the task.

“Kailangan eh. Oh my goodness, kasi if not s’yempre I don’t know how I’ll be able to give birth naturally if my body is not good shape,” said Max. “If there’s no anesthesia it’s gonna be difficult.”

The upcoming baby is her first with husband Pancho Magno.
