A few weeks ago, Samsung lit up San Francisco with the announcement of the newest Galaxy phones: The S20, the S20+, the S20 Ultra, and the Z Flip. However, the Samsung Galaxy S20+ is my phone worth buying. Additionally, if you’re shutter happy, Samsung’s 2020 flagship phone camera features are the best there is in Samsung’s long line of smartphone history.
Here’s a few more observations on the Samsung Galaxy S20 and Samsung Galaxy S20+.
Home Screen
This year’s Samsung Galaxy phones have similar hole punch with the Samsung Note 10 located at the middle top of the screen, which is not annoying if you play a full video screen.
Design and Finish
The Samsung S20+ fits well in my hand comparing with the Note series. The design and form factor of this series is more friendly and ergonomic. Also the weight of the S20 is at 163g and the S20+ weighs 186g, which makes handling either phone easy. Additionally, you can place either phone in your pocket without any hassle.
Screen Features
The screen of the S20+ has a bigger 6.7 inches, which is just slight bigger than S20’s 6.2 inches. Both units are on Quad HD+ Dynamic AMOLED, giving you the brightest screen display in the market. Needless to say, the screen boasts of crisp and sharp images, rich colors, and high-resolution photos! Capturing memories on this phone is definitely a joy to take and to look at.
Camera Features
S20 and S20+ have 12MP ultrawide and wide-angle camera and are also equipped with 64MP telephoto camera. However, the S20+ has a depth vision camera. Both phones boast of 30x digital zoom. Moreover, the selfie mode of both phones is not for group selfie, comparing with other selfie mode features. Furthermore, you can take advantage of the S20 and S20+ camera functions in a myriad of ways and you’ll be sure to come up with HD photos that will be the envy of family and friends, assuming of course that you have photo-taking skills that is! Go ahead and trying the low light mode for your Instagram and Facebook posts and see how many followers drool over your shots.
The Galaxy S20+ and S20 Ultra both have the same 10mp selfie camera.
The S20+ has a 4500mAh battery power compared to S20 which only has 4000mAH.
For storing files, photos and high-res videos your Galaxy S20 and S20+ have vast storage built in memory of 128GB and can be expanded to 1TB using a microSD card
Overall, the Samsung Galaxy S20 and S20 + are sleek and innovative devices that take great photos, offer crisp images, and feature user-friendly functionalities that won’t disappoint its users.
