Chief Justice Diosdado M. Peralta on Thursday, March 19, authorized the use of three shuttle buses of the Supreme Court (SC) to ferry health workers in the National Capital Region (NCR).

Peralta said the three buses will be under the supervision and disposition of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) of the Department of Transportation (DoTr).
The SC bus drivers assigned to man the respective buses will be receiving their instructions from Atty. Clarence Guinto, regional director of LTO-NCR.
The fielding of the SC buses is in response to the Enhanced Community Quarantine currently in effect due to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID 19), Peralta said.
The SC had earlier formed a task force to monitor the spread of COVID-19 particularly to court officials and employees nationwide.
