Support pours in for Valenzuela City frontliners

Private companies poured in support for health workers in Valenzuela City as the country battles the spread of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

Valenzuela City Mayor Rex Gatchalian, in his Twitter post, said the local government has been receiving donations of foods and snacks to be distributed to the city's COVID-19 frontliners.

These include meals packs and boxes of bottled waters, donuts, pizza, cakes, and pastries, among others, that were given to medical and security personnel and local government officials in the hospitals and checkpoints.

"All the frontliners sa check points and hospitals enjoyed!" Gatchalian wrote in a Twitter post on Wednesday. "The lunch you sent over for our teams meant so much... Thank you po!"
