SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga – Two suspects were arrested by agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Region 3 in an operation in San Leonardo, Nueva Ecija.
PDEA3 Regional Director Lyndon Aspacio identified the suspects as Desserie Alvara, 25 and Rhoms Bendickv Pelagio, 32, both residents of Barangay Diversion Road.
An estimated P340,000 of shabu was confiscated from them.
Aspacio said that the operation was a product of the two weeks of casing and surveillance of the PDEA Nueva Ecija Provincial Office.
“Our agents were able to secure a drug deal with the suspect and agreed to meet inside a hotel for the sale of the illegal substances” he furthered.
Around 50 grams of shabu, assorted drug paraphernalia, and buy-bust money were confiscated from the suspects in the operation.
Alvara and Pelagio are now facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002
