Alleged drug peddler slain in Sultan Kudarat entrapment operation

ISULAN, SULTAN KUDARAT - A notorious drug peddler was killed, while a policeman was hurt in a drug entrapment operation that went awry in Lebak, Sultan Kudarat last Wednesday.

Police Office Regional Office-12 Director Brig.Gen. Alfredo Corpus identified the slain suspect as Johari Kadil.

He said P/Chief Master Sgt. Arden Lanasa was wounded in the leg.

Police recovered several grams of shabu, a .45 caliber pistol and ammunition from the slain suspect.

Corpus had ordered police chiefs in Region 12 covering the provinces of Sultan Kudarat, North Cotabao, South Cotabato and Sarangani to intensify anti-illegal drugs operations in compliance with a directive from PNP Chief Gen Archie Gamboa.
