2 drug dealers killed, 26 other drug suspects busted in Bulacan raids

CAMP GENERAL ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan – Two drug dealers were killed while 26 other drug suspects were busted in series of Bulacan Police anti-illegal narcotics raids in Barangay Minuyan Proper, San Jose Del Monte City, Tuesday night.

Acting Bulacan Police Director Colonel Lawrence B.Cajipe, identified the fatalities as Arjohn Irena and Carlo Sison, who were both included in the unified Philippine National Police-Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PNP-PDEA) watch list.

Based on the report of Lt. Colonel Gil Domingo, San Jose Del Monte City acting police chief, the buy-bust operation was conducted by the City Drug Enforcement Unit of San Jose Del Monte City.

The suspects engaged the operatives in a firefight when they became suspicious that they were dealing with an undercover agent which prompted the law enforcers to fire back which resulted in their death, while their cohort identified as Norreuil Ferol Serquina was arrested.

Recovered from them were 20 sachets of shabu, two improvised shotguns loaded with 12-gauge shot shells each, and the buy-bust money.

Likewise, 25 other drug suspects were arrested in a series of anti-illegal narco raid in municipalities/cities of Baliwag, Balagtas, Bocaue, Pulilan, Meycauayan, Sta Maria, Bulakan, Nozagaray and Malolos.

Seized were 54 sachets of shabu, the buy-bust money; and assorted drug paraphernalia. The arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to Bulacan Crime Laboratory for examination. Appropriate criminal charges are being prepared for filing in court.
