PCSO General Manager Royina Marzan-Garma personally handed the check to PCW representatives, Maria Kristine Josefina G. Balmes, deputy executive director for operations, and Rosemarie M. Mendoza-Garcia, administrative officer III.

The mandatory contribution of PCSO was given weeks before the celebration of Women’s Month in March.

PCW representatives expressed gratitude to the PCSO for its continued support to the commission’s advocacy and programs for women empowerment and equality.

Garma emphasized the importance of women empowerment in the society, saying women should be given equal opportunities.

The theme for Women’s Month celebration in the country is “We Make Change Work for Women.”

In support of the advocacy of PCW, Garma and other employees did the “Stop Violence against Women” sign.
