The news of Han’s death was announced by Internet stalwart DeviantArt in a Twitter post.

"Today, the world lost a wonderful artist, and a wonderful person. Thank you for inspiring us with your art, Qinni. We hope you rest in peace," it said.

Qinni has more than 115,000 followers and 3.3 million views on her account.

In February 2017, Qinni was given the “Deviousness Award” for her “Exemplary Membership and an Outstanding Spirit of helpfulness and mentoring within the DeviantArt community.”

Qinni had always been open about her health conditions to her followers.

“Got diagnosis today. Cancer, Stage 4, doc says I got about a year or year and a half left... guys how to stop randomly bursting into tears lol,” the artist said in one of her Twitter posted last December 28.

On January 3, she revealed that she was diagnosed with stage 4 fibrosis sarcoma.

Qinni is known for her galaxy-inspired works and her piece titled “Starred Freckles,” a blue and purple girl with stars on her face.
