Wage commission reminds public: 'Feb. 14 is not a holiday'

While many people look to celebrate Valentine's Day, the National Wages and Productivity Commission (NWPC) has a reminder for the public: February 14 is not a holiday.

"Because even if love makes the world go round, February 14 is still not a holiday," the NWPC said on Facebook.

Valentine’s Day falls on a Friday, which means it is a working day. However, some netizens have pointed out that it is payday for a lot of workers.
