Anna Marie Leano, public service officer of Ilocos Norte, said the job fair will start from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.

As of January 28, the Provincial Public Employment Service Office (PESO) disclosed that a total of 12 participating employers have submitted job vacancies in the province.

However, the number of overseas employment opportunities is still under confirmation.

Customer service representatives, marketing assistant or sales representatives, accounting staff, cashier, and admin assistant are the local jobs with the most number of vacancies.

The PESO–Ilocos Norte has advised interested applicants to wear business attire, and to prepare multiple copies of their resume or curriculum vitae, and 2x2 ID pictures.

The Open Capitol job fair of the provincial government is part of its goal of increasing employment and maintaining the low poverty rate in Ilocos Norte.
