ILIGAN CITY – Personnel from the Iligan City Police Station 1 (ICPC-1) nabbed a security guard for possession of illegal drugs in Barangay Poblacion here Monday.

Police Major Allan S. Abalde, ICPS1 commander stated that while they were conducting a covert operation against another wanted person in Barangay Poblacion, suspect Joseph Bacalso approached them, offering them shabu by saying: “Score mo, Boss?”
The lawmen immediately accosted Bacalso, who works as a security guard, and seized from him 12 pieces of plastic sachets containing shabu.
Bacalso was believed to be a new player in the illegal drug trade because he is not included in any drug watch list.
