A passenger bus caught fire on EDSA, Cubao, Quezon City on Monday morning, January 20.

The vehicular fire was reported by the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Metrobase, in their official Twitter account. The fire occurred at 10:31 a.m. in the southbound lane of the P. Tuazon tunnel.
Fortunately, the fire was immediately put out with a fire extinguisher before the situation got out of hand.
Firefighters were immediately deployed to the scene however, by the time the fire truck arrived, the fire had already been put out.
A team has already been sent to haul the passenger bus out of the site, as it had occupied one lane of the said thoroughfare.
