A magnitude 4.0 earthquake hits Agoncillo, Batangas at 11:39 p.m. Monday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) reported.
The earthquake was tectonic in origin and its epicenter traced six kilometers Northwest of Agoncillo, Batangas with a depth of ten kilometers.
Intensity III was reported in Tagaytay City while Intensity II was felt in Malabon City.
Meanwhile, Instrumental Intensity III was recorded in Tagaytay City.
PHIVOLCS said they're not expecting any aftershocks or damages after the quake.
