But this one’s definitely for the books! Lee Loechler, pushes the envelope by hacking his girlfriend Sthuthi David’s favorite Disney movie Sleeping Beauty to set up an amazing, never-before-done marriage proposal.

Loechler uploaded this magical moment on YouTube and the video has so far been viewed by 1 million and has gotten 15,000 likes.

In his video, Sthuthi starts to suspect that something wasn’t right as in the part of the movie where the Prince Charming was about to kiss Sleeping Beauty, the two characters resemble them.

At this point, the Prince Charming pulls out a box containing a ring and throws it toward the screen. As he does so, David jumps up and grabs something out of thin air.

And voila!, on David’s hand is a box containing an engagement ring and he gets down on his knees to start his proposal.

“It’s not every day you get to propose to your high school sweetheart. So I just wanna take my time to savor this moment,” Loechler said.

Sthuthi on the other hand is already beside herself and only manages to say “Oh my god!”

“I love you with my whole heart including all of its ventricles, atriums, valves… She’s a cardiologist. Sthuthi David, M.D., will you live happily ever after with me?” Lee eventually asks.

“Yes!” David quickly answers and gives her boyfriend a hug to the delight of the crowd, which Sthuthi eventually found out had members of her family and their friend on it.

To cap this spellbinding proposal, Lee points to the screen which then shows the part of the fairytale book where it says “And they lived happily ever after” before closing.

To pull off such a feat, Loechler worked six months altering the movie’s iconic scene to set up his proposal and of course with a little help from the staff of the theater house.

Sthuthi, after all had been revealed to her, said that she thought that “there was something wrong with the movie.”

As the two made their way out of the theater house, Lee pulls off yet another surprise and points to the signage which says “Congratulations Sthuthi and Lee!” in anticipation of a happy ending and living happily ever after together.
