Around P150,000 worth of suspected shabu was seized by joint police operatives from an alleged drug peddler during a buy-bust operation in Pasig City Friday night.
Police identified the suspect as Jakielyn Bayani alias Joy, 38, of Barangay Rosario, Pasig. Her cohort, identified as Ron Ian Celo alias Ronron, 32, eluded arrest during the operation.
Members of the Eastern Police District Drug Enforcement Unit (EPD-DEU) and Special Operations Unit (EPD-SOU) sprang the drug sting against the duo at Celo’s residence on Javier Street in Barangay Rosario at around 8 p.m. Friday.

During the transaction, Celo sensed that they were dealing with authorities, said Police Capt. Allan Hernandez, EPD-DEU chief.
Celo quickly fled towards an alley behind his house, leaving behind Bayani, his live-in partner, Hernandez added.
The policemen nabbed Bayani who had nine more sachets of suspected shabu in her possession.
Police said the illegal drugs weighed a total of 22 grams with an estimated value of P149,600.
She is now temporarily detained at Pasig City Police custodial facility.
