A magnitude 4.3 earthquake struck Sarangani Sunday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) reported.

The quake, which occurred at 5:26 a.m., was tectonic in origin and was traced 15 kilometers northwest of Malungon, Sarangani.
The quake had a depth of 34 km, with the following registered intensities: Intensity III – Digos City: Intensity II - Davao City; General Santos City; Koronadal City; Tampakan, South Cotabato
Phivolcs said the quake was also felt under the following instrumental intensities: Intensity V - Malungon, Sarangani:
Intensity IV - Tupi, Sarangani: Intensity III - Koronadal City; Alabel, Sarangani; Kidapawan City: Intensity II - Davao City; General Santos City; Kiamba, Sarangani
No aftershocks and damages are expected from the tremor.
