This, after a fake announcement, supposedly posted on social media by Mayor Isko Moreno on Tuesday, showed that classes in all levels, both public and private, in Manila are suspended for Wednesday, Dec. 4.

Domagoso said that the city government had not issued any class suspension announcements for Dec. 4 as of Tuesday, 9 p.m.

Domagoso noticed that a part of the text of the supposed class suspension announcement had a different font style than the rest of the text.

The mayor advised the public that official announcements online will be made through the official account of the Manila Public Information Office or his verified account.

He eventually suspended Wednesday classes from preschool to grade school in all public and private schools in Manila.
