The city of Manila announced on Wednesday the closure of the historical Jones Bridge on November 24, Sunday.
The Manila Public Information Office (PIO) advised the public to take the following alternate routes on Sunday, starting 3:00 p.m.:
NORTH BOUND
Vehicles going to Divisoria are advised to take this route:
• McArthur Bridge
• Sta. Cruz Church
• U-Turn to Plaza Sta. Cruz
• Straight to Dasmarinas street
• Quintin Paredes street
• Divisoria
SOUTH BOUND
Vehicles going to Taft Avenue, P. Burgos, Roxas Boulevard are advised to take this route:
• Juan Luna street
• Muelle Dela Industria, Riverside
• Sta. Cruz area
• Straight to destination
Manila LGU has yet to announce the reason for the closure of the said bridge.
