G2E Asia Expo debuts in the Philippines


As its local gaming industry continues to expand and cater to more diverse markets, the Philippines became the newest addition to the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) Asia series of events.

G2E Asia will make its official debut in the country on December 3 to 4, 2019 at the Manila Marriott Hotel. The two-day event, which is supported by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), will comprise of an expo, educational conference, and networking opportunities.

During the G2E press launch on October 8, 2019 at the Manila Marriott Hotel, PAGCOR Chairman and CEO Andrea Domingo said that it is an honor for the Philippines to host a globally renowned event such as the G2E.

“PAGCOR continues to pursue its vision of becoming the top gaming destination in this part of the world. Having events such as the G2E Asia reflects the region’s exciting and upward growth in gaming and entertainment,” she said.
The PAGCOR chief added that aside from the huge market in the Philippines for gaming equipment and services, the G2E expo will serve as venue for the state-gaming agency to share its experiences and policies on responsible gaming, proper accountability, regulatory functions and casino operations.

Meanwhile, Josephine Lee, Chief Operating Officer of Reed Exhibitions Greater China – the G2E Asia 2019 event organizer – said that they are excited to expand the G2E Asia brand in the Philippines. “With this event, we are bringing new opportunities for growth and innovation to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) emerging markets, including the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia, gaming-entertainment industry,” she said.

Featuring nearly 100 exhibitors and sponsors, G2E Asia @ the Philippines will offer exhibitors an effective platform to grow brand awareness. The conference program will provide visitors an industry-exclusive education lineup featuring renowned leaders and influencers, centering around the themes of “ASEAN Market Perspectives: Opportunities and Threats” and “Beyond Gaming.”

It will also offer networking opportunities with gaming operators in the Philippines and neighboring emerging ASEAN markets. While on-site, visitors can utilize the G2E Asia Matchmaking Program, which provides pre-arranged and customized, one-on- one business matchmaking meetings to further maximize time and return on investment.

G2E Asia is the international gaming trade show and conference for the Asian gaming industry. Organized by the American Gaming Association and Reed Exhibitions, G2E Asia, held annually in Macau made its debut in 2007, establishing itself as the preeminent show for the Asian gaming-entertainment industry.
