Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) on Wednesday nabbed a 23-year woman and seized 500 kilograms of suspected shabu worth P3.4 million in a buy-bust operation in Novaliches, Quezon City.

PDEA Regional Office (RO)-National Capital Region (NCR) Director Joel Plaza identified the suspect as Roselle Bolivar y Cacdac, female, 23, unemployed and a resident of Pangarap Village, Caloocan City.

Recovered from the suspect were five pieces of knot-tied transparent plastic packs containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu.

Plaza said the suspect was collared at about 12:45 pm by joint operatives of PDEA RO-NCR Northern District Office (NDO) and Regional Special Enforcement Team (RSET) after the suspect contacted an undercover agent where the buy bust transaction was held at the parking lot of a Shopping Mall in Brgy. Pasong Putik, Quirino Highway.

Criminal charges for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) of Article II of the Republic Act 9165 (The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) will be filed against the suspect.
