Police Captain Bryan Alamo and Staff Sergeant Inocencio Tasaria of the PNP in Pandan town sustained minor injuries after their Toyota police patrol vehicle slammed into a van in Culasi town.

Alamo told the Manila Bulletin that the incident occurred early morning of Saturday.

Tasaria,51, was driving the vehicle with Alamo to Pandan town from the provincial capital town of San Jose after attending a series of programs of the Antique Police Provincial Office.

According to Alamo, Tasaria suddenly felt dizzy and his vision became blurry and the police patrol car hit a van coming from the opposite direction.

“We are looking if he had a mild stroke,” Alamo said. Tasaria will have to undergo further laboratory tests.
