Marie Kondo to release new book to help spark joy at work

Have you been needing joy at work?

Marie Kondo, famous for her book, The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up (2011) and Netflix series, Tidying Up With Marie Kondo (2019), has a new book coming out next year, and it might just be what you’ve been looking to improve your workplace.

Called Joy At Work, the book aims to help professionals become more productive and later on, successful, by starting with a tidy desk.

“This book offers stories, studies and strategies to help you eliminate clutter and make space for work that really matters,” Kondo writes in an Instagram post, revealing a sneak peek of the book cover.

It’s official synopsis on Amazon is as follows: “The workplace is a magnet for clutter and mess. Who hasn’t felt drained by wasteful meetings, disorganized papers, endless emails, and unnecessary tasks? These are the modern-day hazards of working, and they can slowly drain the joy from work, limit our chances of career progress, and undermine our well-being.

“There is another way…

“Using the world-renowned KonMari Method and cutting-edge research, Joy at Work will help you overcome the challenges of workplace mess and enjoy the productivity, success, and happiness that comes with a tidy desk and mind.”

Joy At Work is co-written by Scott Sonenshein, a business professor at Rice University, and will be out on April 7, 2020.
