MARILAO, Bulacan – The suspect in the killing of a Taiwanese national surrendered to Mayor Ricky Sylvestre of this town last Thursday, police said on Friday.

Colonel Chito G. Bersaluna, Bulacan police director, identified the suspect as Ralph John Aron Marcos, alias "Arjay".

According to the report of Lt. Col. Amado A. Mendoza Jr., chief of police here, the victim Hsueh Hsuan, 68, was found dead inside the IGC Industrial Compound Warehouse located in Barangay Loma De Gato last October 29.

The victim sustained stab wounds in the body, and was brought to the Kairos Hospital in Muzon, San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan, but was declared dead by the attending physician.

Continuous follow-up investigation was made by the police for the arrest of the suspect and on October 31, at about 11:30 am., Marcos, accompanied by his parents, turned himself in to Sylvestre.

The suspect was seen on a CCTV camera of an adjacent facility coming out from the victim's warehouse. Aside from the admission of the suspect of his killing, there were also witnesses who positively identified the suspect as the one who was seen in the CCTV footages.

The knife used by the suspect was recovered by scene of the crime operatives of Bulacan Crime Laboratory Office in the crime scene while his pants with blood stains were later recovered in the house of suspect.

A criminal complaint for murder against Marcos is now being prepared for filing in court.
