The Manila Electric Company (Meralco) announced that certain areas in Manila, Quezon City, Pasig and Rodriguez, Rizal will experience power interruption from October 21 to 27.

Meralco in its Facebook page announced that the following areas will experience brownouts:
Sampaloc, Manila – Between 11:30 p.m. of Wednesday, October 23 to 5:30 a.m. of Thursday, Oct. 24
Portion of Ramoy Magsaysay Blvd. from near Dela Fuente St. to M. Francisco St.
Portion of M. Francisco St. from Mercury Drug to and including Loreto St.
Portion of Loreto St. Ext. from M. Francisco St. to A. H. Lacson Ave.
The reason for the power interruption is the line conversion works, installation of facilities and replacement of poles along Ramon Magsaysay Boulevard. in Sampaloc, Manila.
Sta. Ana, Pandacan and Paco, Manila – Between 11:30 p.m. and 11:59 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 24 and between 6 a.m. and 6:30 a.m., Friday, Oct. 25.

The reason for the power interruption is the relocation of facilities affected by the ongoing Skyway construction along Quirino Ave. in Pandacan, Manila, Meralco said.

The reason for the power interruption, the electric company said is the reconstruction of facilities and replacement of rotten poles along Rail Road Drive in Port Area, Manila.
