Partly cloudy mornings and more localized rains in the afternoon or evening will prevail over most of the country in the next few days.

Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) weather specialist Ezra Bulquerin said fair weather apart from isolated rain showers, mostly in the afternoon or evening will persist over Metro Manila and in some parts of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

He said the public should remain vigilant for possible flash flooding over low-lying areas or landslides over mountainous areas during severe thunderstorms.

Thunderstorm activity most likely occurs at the warmest, most humid part of the day, which is usually the afternoon or evening.

Meanwhile, the shallow low pressure area (LPA) over the northern part of Luzon has already dissipated on Sunday afternoon.

The easterlies or warm and humid wind coming from the Pacific will affect the eastern section of the country.

PAGASA has not issued a gale warning thus fisherfolk and seafarers are safe to sail.

Moderate to rough seas are expected over the northern and eastern section of Luzon, while slight to moderate seas will prevail over the rest of the country.

Mindanao will also have slight to moderate sea condition.
