According to a report by GMA News, it lasted for more than 30 minutes before thinning away and disappearing in the skies.

It was also seen in towns of Sariaya, Tayabas, Lucban, and Lucena City.

Some residents said it was their first time to witness the thick cloud formation while others claimed that they also saw the same thing in the skies over Mount Banahaw in 2017.

Mount Banahaw is an inactive volcano situated between Majayjay, Laguna and Lucban, Quezon.

It is the highest mountain in CALABARZON (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon) region.

The mountain is also one of the protected areas in the Philippines.
