This after Navotas City Mayor Tobias "Toby" Tiangco held a meeting with Grab officials on August 1, following several weeks of the city being excluded from its services.

We can now book GrabCars going to or from Navotas again. This came after we met with Grab on August 1 to address your concerns)," Tiangco said in a Facebook post on Saturday, August 17.

"Paki-update o reinstall ng GrabApp para po makapagbook na kayo (Please update or reinstall your Grab application so you can book their services)," he added.

On Monday, Tiangco announced that Grab's food delivery services have also been restored in the Navotas, despite his initial announcement saying it would take up to a month before the service returns.

"Good news po ulit! We received an update from Grab. The GrabFood service will no longer be suspended in our city)," he said.
