PowerShot G7 X Mark III
Canon is bringing to the Philippines two new additions to its G series family of cameras: the PowerShot G7 X Mark III and the PowerShot G5 X Mark II. Succeeding the G7 X Mark II and the G5 X, the new flagship compact models combine DSLR speed, quality, and lightweight handling with its 20-megapixel, 1.0-inch stacked CMOS sensor, wide aperture of F1.8-2.8, and remarkable optical zoom (4.2x for the G7 X Mark III, 5x for the G5 X Mark II).
“With versatile capabilities packed in pocket-friendly dimensions, these latest Canon compacts, the PowerShot G7 X Mark III and the PowerShot G5 X Mark II, are ideal choices for advanced photographers and vloggers who are constantly on the move looking for that all-in-one, high-performance camera for everyday use,” said Benny Yu, Canon Marketing (Philippines), Inc. (CMPI) Head of Consumer Imaging and Information Division.
Utilizing Canon’s pioneering DIGIC 8 Processor, both the PowerShot G7 X Mark III and the PowerShot G5 X Mark II are equipped with a new 1.0-inch stacked CMOS image sensor and an expanded ISO range of up to 25,600, enhancing the cameras’ performance with faster autofocus and resulting in crisp, clear shots regardless of lighting conditions.
Both products are also capable of up to 30 frames per second high-speed continuous shooting in RAW burst mode (20fps in JPEG), allowing users to capture fast-moving subjects. The cameras’ focus bracketing feature allows for breathtaking landscape photos that keep the foreground subject in focus. In terms of video recording, the two cameras can capture videos in 4K 25p/30p with no crop.
The PowerShot G7 X Mark III is a true vlogger companion with its YouTube livestreaming function which supports Full HD video streaming straight from the camera. To utilize this feature, the user simply needs to register on Canon iMAGE GATEWAY and have a minimum of 1,000 channel subscribers in accordance with YouTube guidelines. Both cameras support USB charging, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) as connectivity options.
Now available for pre-selling, Canon is offering the new PowerShot G7 X Mark III with exclusive bundles until August 31, 2019. The G7 X Mark III Package A (P46,998) is on offer with free 24/7 Vlogger Service Support that includes pickup and delivery in case of repairs, a service unit usage, a three-year standard warranty, and a lens and accessories loan program.
The G7 X Mark III Package B (P48,998) is on offer with the Vlogger Service Support and a Vlogger’s Kit which includes an Ulanzi bracket with cold shoe (microphone mount plate, a LensGo L322 multifunction desktop tripod, and a Boya BY-MM1 universal cardioid microphone. The cameras will be officially available in the country on September 1.
