IKG Philippines Eyes Major Partnership With Major Telcos


Internet Keeper Global (IKG) Philippines, the local subsidiary of Hong Kong-based IKG Global, aims to establish partnerships with major Philippine telecoms companies in its bid to establish a major presence in the local market.

“IKG Philippines wants to establish business relationships with leading telecom companies such as PLDT Inc, Globe Telecom, Converge and Eastern Telecom to build a solid foundation in the local telecom industry,” Mary Gold Sy, Senior Business Development Manager of IKG Philippines said during the opening of the local office on July 10, 2019 at the Bonifacio Global City.

IKG Philippines, also known as Internet Keeper Philippines, will be banking on the parent company’s partnership with China Telecom, Korean Telecom, Nippon Telegraph and Telephone and other major telco providers all around the world to be able to be competitive in the local leased line market. Moreover, IKG also operates Los Angeles, San Jose, Beijing, Shenzhen, Shanghai,Chongqing and other major cities in China,

CEO, Philippines (Steven Yan) said IKG Philippines will enter the enterprise market to service business process outsourcing (BPOs) firms, systems integrators and Philippine offshore gaming operators (POGOs). IKG Philippines will provide high quality services as an Internet Service Provider, covering global data center resources, global network lines, internet bandwidth, internet protocol addresses, network security and defense, cleaning center services, cloud computing and data acceleration, IEPL/IPLC, professional consulting, IT Financial Leasing and project implementation.

Sy said IKG Philippines will also provide services and technologies to small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Sy also said IKG Philippines can provide Financial leasing grant to entrepreneurs who seek to digitize and automate their operations.

In anticipation of an expansion in their local operations, Yan said the company plans to hire more personnel to serve the prospective clients nationwide. “We will grow our personnel five times composed of engineers, pre sales and after sales personnel.

Yan said IKG decided to enter the Philippines because it is one of the top users of internet in the world.

To gain advantage in the local market, Sy said IKG will provide better customer service by delivering responsible service in an efficient and responsible manner. “Our international call centers will back up our client servicing in the country,” she said.
